The Ministry of defence is ready to call one of the ships of Ukraine "Ternopil-1540"
Command military-naval forces of Armed forces of Ukraine has considered and studied the proposal of the Ternopil city Council about assignment of one of the ships names "Ternopil-1540". In the letter they noted that it would comply with the decision of the Ternopil city Council in 2016. «Taking into account the close mentoring relationship between the naval forces of Armed forces of Ukraine and community of the city of Ternopil, the Command of the naval forces of Armed forces of Ukraine will take into account the decision of the Ternopil city Council during the laying of new boats in 2016», - said in response. We will remind that on 24 November 2015 the deputies of the Ternopil city Council appealed to the command of the naval forces of Ukraine and the Minister of defence of Ukraine with a request to consider assigning one of the ships names "Ternopil-1540". At the same time Ternopil city Council guaranteed the necessary patronage and assistance to the crew.
