Uzhgorod businessman to be tried for obstruction of lawful journalistic activities
January 26, the Transcarpathian region Prosecutor's office approved and submitted to the court indictment in respect of Uzhgorod private entrepreneur who is suspected of obstruction of legitimate journalistic activity. The latter is accused of last year in the city of Uzhgorod, intentionally inflicted light bodily injuries, interfered with lawful professional activities of a journalist of one of local TV channels, and also intentionally damaged property belonging to a journalist during the implementation of this journalist's legal professional activity (paragraph 1 of article 125, part 1 article 171, part 1 of article 347-1 of the criminal code).
