In Khmelnytsky oblast the lifeguards explained the rules of fire safety to vulnerable populations
As the long-term statistics, with the onset of winter increases significantly the number of fires in the residential sector, especially in rural areas. The main reasons for them remains a violation of the rules of operation of heaters and stoves, overloading the power supply, and careless handling of fire. January 28, to prevent the occurrence of fires and to prevent death of people, rescuers together with employees of management of social protection of the population and the media conducted testing of private residential sector of the city. Special attention is paid to employees of gschs large seven’nm, single pensioners and unreliable persons. During the event, experts of service of rescue "101" roses’explained to the owners the basic rules of fire safety in the home, inspected the living conditions and provided practical recommendations on elimination of shortcomings. Among the main violations that can lead to fire, is the lack of sheet metal under the furnace aperture, repaired crack on stoves, insufficient distance from a heating furnace to household items and use of uncertified electrical heaters. Similar events are held regularly.
