Rivne region: the rescuers started checking the readiness of the management bodies of civil protection for the spring flood
09 February the staff of head Department gschs of Ukraine in Rivne region together with employees of Department concerning emergency situations and civil protection of population of regional state administration began the examination of the actual state of readiness of local bodies of Executive power and bodies of local self-government, enterprises, institutions and organizations of the Region to pass ice flows, floods and flash floods in 2016. Check specialists directly into the areas of potential flooding. These activities are carried out pursuant to the instructions of the first Deputy Chairman of the Rivne regional state administration Yuriy Primorskogo with a view to provide practical and methodological assistance to the staff of the management bodies of civil protection, forces of reaction in relation to the procedure in conditions of floods and floods and assess their readiness to act in case of emergencies and rescue and other emergency operations. Also, the specialists of the state Service for emergency situations will follow up on the implementation of the training Plan of local bodies of Executive power, bodies of local self-government, enterprises, institutions and organizations to pass ice flows, floods and flash floods in 2016. Audit results will be discussed in detail at the meeting of the constant Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations of the Rivne region in late February.
