In the Volyn region, rescuers trained to put out fires on objects with mass stay of people (photos,video)
February 12, the rescuers of the city of Lutsk held tactical exercises on liquidation of fires on about’objects with mass stay of people in the main building of the Eastern national University of Lesya Ukrainka. The legend of the exercises, the fire originated on the fourth floor of the academic and administrative body of the University. The fire covered a significant area of the Assembly hall and the attic, the fourth floor of the building, where there may be people who smoke. The administration called the rescue Service "101", organized an immediate evacuation from the premises of the University, and representatives of volunteer fire brigades tried to stop the fire primary means of fire. After a few minutes after a distress message to a scene there arrived guard on duty Parts special fire equipment of the city of Lutsk. In some minutes at increased number of the call to the scene of the fire firefighters arrived 1st and the 2nd State fire and rescue parts of the regional center. After investigation, the workers of gschs began rescue work in two ways: by putting the fire escape to the window of the fourth floor, went in search of the victim and at the same time paved the hose line with a Central staircase. In the structure of the link of the rescue service rescuers started fire extinguishing in the auditorium. Just to curb conventional disasters was drawn on 6 pieces of equipment and more than 30 rescuers. In the framework of the rescuers studied the tactical characteristic of the building, particularly external and internal water supply and have worked out issues of cooperation with the administration’of the object and the relevant services of the city. Summing up the results of the exercises, the rescuers noted that since Eastern European national University belongs to the category of objects’of objects with mass stay of people, and in the daytime in the school may be at the same time hundreds of citizens, it is important not only to practise the algorithm of actions in case of fire, but also to check the technical system of institutions aimed at identifying, combating and reduction of dangerous factors of fires, to reduce the risk of critical situations to a minimum.
