In Vinnytsia region is temporarily home to more than 12 thousands of internally displaced people
In connection with the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea there is a need in providing social support to citizens who moved to Vinnytsia region from temporarily occupied territories and areas of ATO. As the Director of the Department of social and youth policy of the regional state administration Natalia Zabolotna, with the aim of providing necessary assistance to the above groups in the field ensured the functioning “hot line” for the HPO, established a housing Registry for free accommodation. Thus, registered objects 16 to 82 people including 14 objects of the private sector to 59. According to Natalia Zabolotnaya, carried out a wide information campaign to address issues of social protection and meet the most urgent needs of internally displaced persons who are officially registered in a single database resettled citizens. Currently in Vinnytsia region is home to 12 328 internally displaced persons (7755 families). Now 11108 persons paid allowance from the state budget totaling UAH 67.9 million. To address these issues in the Vinnitsa region were involved and civil society organizations, international foundations and entrepreneurs.
