Ongoing development of Strategy of development of small and medium enterprises of the Ternopil region in the 2016-2020
23 March in the regional state administration held a regular meeting of the working group on development of Strategy of development of small and medium enterprises of the Ternopil region for 2016-2020. During the meeting the experts of the USAID Program "Leadership in economic Radovan" presented a first draft of the Strategy. Members of the working group has carefully studied all the details and filled out the questionnaire with suggestions and comments on the draft Strategy. Special attention is focused on improving the regulatory environment, "restart" infrastructure of SME support in the region, improving the quality of business processes, facilitating entry into new markets, intensification of dialogue between business and government. At the previous meeting, the working group heard proposals and Strategy requirements the Chairpersons of the joint communities of the region. Participation in the meeting of the working meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman – chief of staff of regional state administration Igor Wons, representatives of the Department of economic development, investment and international cooperation, experts, scientists. "The document on which we work is very important for the entire Region, - said Igor Wons. Without exaggeration, the development of small and medium business - the key to confidence in the future. In addition, developing the Strategy should consider the geographic location of the region in particular and tourism potential". Before 1 April, the working group should fully form the project of Strategy of development of small and medium enterprises of the Ternopil region for 2016-2020. After the adoption administration Strategy will be submitted for consideration deputies of regional Council.
