"The Ministry of defence of Ukraine allocated UAH 14 million for the restoration of the military unit in Terebovlia, - stated the head of the edge. – It must be the joint work of local communities, district administration, district Council, because you need to restore things that had been destroyed. In addition, there must be a cooperation of Executive authorities and local self-government in the district, in particular it is exemption from payment of the land tax". Stepan Barna is convinced that such a step would not only contribute to strengthening military positions of Ukraine, Patriotic education of youth, and the creation of new jobs. According to preliminary data, the military unit will serve 500 military personnel. According to the Deputy commander of the military unit PP 1428 for logistics Lieutenant Colonel Andrew tjapkin, it is assumed that funds from the state budget will go toward the restoration of the barracks, dining room, boiler room and utilities. Other objects that are in the territory of the former military base will be restored gradually. At the moment, for the first organizational activities (grounds maintenance, landscaping, restoration of main entrance) area is seeking resources on their own.
