Last year in Vinnytsia region was provided by nutrition almost 135 thousands of students
Average of pupils with food coverage in the region amounted to 90.2 per cent. Hot meals received 108,3 thousand students (81.1 per cent of the total number of students enrolled in all types of food). It is reported by the Department of education and science of the regional state administration One hundred percent covered hot meals for pupils of 1-4 classes – 63,9 thousand; students grades 5-9 – 37,2 thousand (53%); pupils of 10-11 classes – 7.2 thousand (42%). 100% of meals were organized for pupils of 1-11 classes of preferential categories. The average cost of a school lunch was: in the rural areas is 6.2 UAH - in the cities – 6,6 UAH.
