In the State archives of Ternopil region held a round table on theme: "Liquidation of the UGCC in 1946 and its consequences"
a Round table on theme: "Liquidation of the UGCC in 1946 and its consequences" was held on 13 April in the reading room of the State archive of Ternopil region. The event was attended by scientists, candidates and doctors of historical Sciences, historians, political figures, and representatives of local authorities and clergy. The participants discussed problems of opposition to the Soviet totalitarian regime and the Church, the effects of forced liquidation of the UGCC for the society and the state, as well as contemporary challenges to Church-state relations. Also in the framework of the round table was the presentation of the exhibition "the Blind Patriarch Joseph in philatelic and commemorative editions" from the private collection of local historian, Chairman of the Ternopil regional organization of the "memorial" society, the honored worker of culture of Ukraine Bohdan Avivskogo.
