In the framework of the working trip the Deputy Minister of youth and sports Ihor Hotsul visited the facilities of sports infrastructure of Ternopil region. In particular, biathlon base of the FSO "Kolos", in the village Podgorodneye Ternopil district. Only working in the Western region biathlon base, which trained world champion, the famous biathlete Olena Pidhrushna, is under threat of complete destruction. A number of obstacles that hinder the effective functioning of the sports complex, has designated the head of the physical culture and sport of Ternopil regional state administration Victor Masykur. The main problem is disruption of the integrity of the sports complex. Private land, on the territory of the base is already privatized. Here, children are trained, and on one of the areas already operating a sawmill, which pollutes the environment. "If we manage to overcome all difficulties, involving the Ministry, as well as land and building services, we can create a modern complex, which will be the preparation of the national teams and will be held competitions of the European level, — is convinced Victor Mazkur". On the agenda — the issue of allocation from the state Fund of the land for the shooting range, as well as the development of preliminary design of construction legalline track. "In order to get support from the Cabinet, you need to provide a clearly formulated strategy of action aimed at the preservation of this object, — summed up Igor Hotsul". Deputy Minister of youth and sport of Ternopil visited the rowing canal. On its base plan to create a Center for water sports, and then the clerk presented the corresponding project. In the 90-ies of the rowing canal was almost ready for use, but the object was never completed. And despite this, there is actively carried out water competition. "Nature has created all the conditions for competitions in aquatics, therefore, our task is only to put in order this territory, — said Victor Mackor. — The competition will not only enhance the tourist appeal of our region, but also will allow to attract additional funds for development of the region". In addition to the rowing channel it is planning to build a sports village, where will take part in athletics and other competitive sports. Also Igor Hotsul assessed the state of reconstruction of the municipal enterprise "Ternopil city stadium". Arena is located on the territory of the Old Park. "This is the biggest football and athletics stadium in Ternopil and region, — said Viktor Mackor. — After extensive renovations the stadium has 15 150 plastic seats under a canopy and is divided into 48 sectors. Operates the electronic scoreboard, illumination of 1200 Lux. Equipped with five stationary points for holding video recording of television broadcasts of football matches".
