In the Ternopil region increased the volumes of industrial production
At the end of the first quarter of 2016, the volume of industrial production increased by 6%, which is 2.3 percentage points higher than in the state (7th place among regions of Ukraine). This was announced by the Director of the Department of economic development and trade of Galina Volanic during a meeting of the Board of regional state administration. "The volume of production increased by the industrial enterprises of the following industries: mining (+60,6%), textile (+44,1%), manufacture of wood products, paper and printing (+46,5%), in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (+91,2%), metallurgical production, production of finished metal products (+22.4 per cent), engineering (+4,3%)", - said Galina Volanic. At the same time in January-February 2016 industrial complex of the region achieved growth of sales volumes by 45.2% to 2.3 billion UAH. At the same time in 5 districts ongoing decline in sales of industrial products, in particular: in Husyatyn (73,7%), Chortkiv (25%), Berezhany (34.9%), Busacca (37.3%) and Shumsky (11.7%). All categories of farms of the agrarian sector in January-March 2016 increased milk production to 64.4 thousand tons (+0.2%, the 8th place among the regions of Ukraine), eggs to 122.8 million (+4.7%) and 4th place among the regions of the state), including in agricultural enterprises increased milk production by 14.2%, eggs – by 8.7%. The number of pigs in the reporting period increased by 2% and amounted to 436,1 thousand heads (4 place among regions of Ukraine). Along with this, the volume of gross output of agriculture in January-March 2016 in comparison with the corresponding period last year decreased by 2.9% to 425,3 million hryvnia (15th place among the regions of Ukraine). In the reporting period agricultural enterprises in the region, meat production decreased by 19.5% (20th place among the regions of the state). The positive dynamics achieved in only 3 districts of the region, together with the significant decline admitted Zborowski (74,3%), Berezhany (71.8%), Podvolochisk (58%). The least production of meat recorded in Berezhany (71 tons), Kosovskom (931 ton), Podvolochisk (1153 tons), Zbaraz (2261 tonne) areas. Continuing further reduction in the number of cattle by 3.9% to 172,5 thousand heads, including in agricultural enterprises of 2.1%. Most reduced the population in Podgaetskii (by 49.4%), Zborowski (36.4%), Chortkiv (13.4%), Zbaraz (7.7%) regions. The smallest number of cattle observed in Gustynskogo (3 PCs.), Kremenets (22 Gol.), Podgaetskii (83 Gol.), Borshchiv (151 Gol.), The monastery (254 Gol.), Chortkiv (680 goal) areas.
