If we consider the numerous allegations of international experts, the level of corruption in Ukraine is one of the highest in the world. However, as world practice shows, this phenomenon can and should be eradicated. Therefore, we will focus on how relying on changes in law, generally to get the desire to create corruption projects. The Chairman of the Board of the Professional Association of corporate governance, Project expert, Alexander Okunev has informed those present about how the tools work anti-corruption compliance, citing examples of Ukrainian and foreign companies : "Discussion of anti-corruption measures in Ukraine, as a rule, reduced to the public sphere - in the declarations and monitoring of the lifestyle of officials, transparency of public tenders, the tightening of criminal legislation, improvement of law enforcement. The mechanisms for the eradication of corruption in the private sector is clearly underestimated," he stressed. According to Alexander Okunev, most Ukrainians involved in business, do not understand the mechanisms of anti-corruption efforts exist in principle and how they work. Also it is a widespread belief that to successfully do business in Ukraine without corruption is impossible. Not everyone understands how to "monetize" strict observance of international anti-corruption standards, it may become a real alternative to the dubious "benefits" of corrupt practices. "In our opinion, government employees should own the issue, knowing what kind of events are usually included in similar programs, how they work and what specific benefits can get a company with a reputation for corruption-free," - said the expert. After a General discussion and questioning, the participants of the anticorruption seminar will receive a certificate, manuals and other Project materials.
