However, this rule applies only to conscientious taxpayers. This idea as a compromise between government and business in this complex issue expressed Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko at a meeting with businessmen of the city. The question of the reduction in the Chernigov land tax for enterprises has been discussed for a long time. Business representatives insist that payment for land in Chernihiv is the highest in comparison with other cities of Ukraine and even some cities in Europe. And that is, given the economic difficulties in our country, does not work for many of Chernihiv enterprises. At today's meeting with businessmen the mayor urged their representatives to greater objectivity in comparisons: - I agree that we need a little help, which now is really hard. But do not say what is not. The conclusion, if the tax on Chernihiv land is the largest, is not true. It is not confirmed in absolute terms of income. Vladislav Atroshenko noted that to compare the "land" tax burden need analyzing at least two components: not only the percentage tax rate, but the assessed value of land. Also Vladislav Atroshenko reminded that any tax relief is the shortfall in the budget. And Chernihiv – 300-strong city, which has, in particular, 96 schools, 400 kilometers of asphalt, other necessary community facilities, the maintenance of which needs very considerable resources. - If we accept these benefits, we will shortfall in the city budget of about 20 million UAH. Therefore, it is important that the business has demonstrated a more responsible attitude, " said the mayor. In particular, Chernigov still relevant is the issue of the conclusion by some entrepreneurs who previously had land plots in permanent use and lease agreements. By calculations of Department of land resources of the city Council, arrears to the budget that entrepreneurs persist in permanent use for rent, also makes about 20 million UAH. Addressing the representatives of Chernihiv business, Vladislav Atroshenko urged them to realize the need for joint care Chernigov and shared responsibility for the life of the people in it. Also at the meeting of the mayor with entrepreneurs discussed other relevant issues: connection and use of electricity, the operation of the customs terminal tax for the trade of excisable goods to petrol stations, the legalization of labor relations, in particular on the markets of the city.
