In Chernivtsi inaugurated the “Peter fair”
in Front of the town Hall took place the solemn opening of the “Petrovsky fair”. The event was attended by representatives of regional authorities, city Council, deputies of Ukraine, deputies of regional and city councils, honorary citizens, entrepreneurs, citizens and guests. The festival began with the traditional melody "Marichka" and the legendary "Chervona Ruta", performed Chernivtsi beatboxers. Also during the opening ceremony was solemnly carried the flags of Ukraine, Chernivtsi, and the standard Petrovsky fair. “Holiday Petrovsky fair has long become a favorite for Chernivtsi citizens and guests of our city. Every year its popularity is growing, and we are very pleased that the city torhovytsia, which began in the 18th century, has its modern sequel”, – said Chernivtsi mayor Alex Kaspruk. The President of the Chernivtsi chamber of Commerce and industry Vasily Liakhovich on behalf of the entrepreneurs of Chernivtsi gave Alex Kaspruk symbolic sack of local taxes. In response the mayor gave a pillow with the image of the city and wished the entrepreneurs success in business and creative ideas. Then began a festive procession to the Central Park of culture and leisure. T. G. Shevchenko, where the opening ceremony was continued. In particular, during the event, Alexey Kaspruk presented gifts to the military, birthday, and school bags to future pupils Petrik and Pavlik.
