For abuse of influence condemned by the head of sector of the customs post "Lutsk"
Volyn region Prosecutor's office completed pre-trial investigation and sent to court the indictment in criminal proceedings against a head of the sector of customs clearance No. 1 of the customs post «Kyiv». Pedicularis was accused of influence peddling the acceptance of the offer and obtaining illegal benefit for influence on decision-making by the person authorized to perform the functions of the state (a criminal offense under part 2, article 369-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine). Being in the power position in friendly relations with the employees of the Volyn customs DFS, 36-year-old official for monetary compensation (USD 100 for customs clearance of each car with ryboproduktsii) contributed to the representative of the importer in the "correct" customs clearance colleagues of the goods. 16 March 2016, the representative of the enterprise he gave the officer $ 200 for customs clearance of the two vehicles with the products, and on April 13 – asked his friend to pass job $ 400 – have a clearance of 4 cars. During receipt of the second "tranche" head of sector and detained "hot" employees of the Prosecutor's office of Volyn region together with employees of USBU in the region. During a pretrial investigation, the officer admitted his guilt, repentance, and actively contributed to solving the crime. Lutsk city district court found the officer guilty and has appointed to it punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 1000 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens (UAH 17 thousand.).
