Income from business activities is 30% of the total budget of Ternopil region. About this said the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna during the regional conference on perspective directions of business development of the region. By the way, in Ternopil region, there are 45 thousand 20 thousand individuals and legal entities-entrepreneurs. "In General the region has shown encouraging signs, because our businesses are more often open than closed. We are doing everything in order to create a favourable investment climate. So we have large enterprises, while those already operating are expanding their activities. Small and medium business, of course, contributes to the development of the region", — said the head region. During this event, which was attended by more than 120 participants (representatives of government, business and the public region), was held rewarding the best entrepreneurs in the areas of joint diplomas of regional state administration and regional Council, thanked the state fiscal service in the field, as well as honorary diplomas of the Association of taxpayers in the Ternopil region. Also during the event, the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna, Chairman of the regional Council Victor Ovcharuk, Director of the USAID Leadership in economic Radovan" Tamara Solyanyk awarded the winners of children drawing contest "Entrepreneurship through the eyes of children" joint with diplomas and valuable gifts. In addition, during the conference were presented the possibilities of business support from the European Bank for reconstruction and development.
