In Lutsk city tournament for young geographers (AAG
13 September 2016 on the basis of UVK ¹10 held city tournament on geography. The tournament was attended by 8 teams - gymnasium ¹ 4 named modest Levitsky; team UVK ¹ 7 – natural Lyceum and UVK ¹ 10 – vocational school; the team of "Mercator" UVK ¹ 9, school ¹14 named after Vasily Sukhomlinsky, school No. 18; team of the Mercator-Junior" UVK ¹ 9, school ¹14 named after Vasily Sukhomlinsky, school No. 18; high school ¹21 named after Mikhail Kravchuk; the team of school ¹23 and UVK ¹24; UVK ¹26; SOSH – internat pravoslavi the Lyceum. At the tournament, students competed in the form of role-playing which contributed to the acquisition of skills to report, articulate claims and defend their own opinions in scientific discussions. The final game consisted of four intellectual battles in which participants competed teams rose ¹¹ 21, 26, the team of "Mercator" (UVK ¹ 9, school ¹14 named after Vasily Sukhomlinsky, school No. 18); the team of the Mercator-Junior" (UVK ¹ 9, school ¹14 named after Vasily Sukhomlinsky school No. 18).
