Chernigov: grants for educational projects on issues of climate change and adaptation
the national ecological centre of Ukraine announces the contest of educational projects on issues of climate change and adaptation in the framework of "Climate Forum East II (CFE II), which is implemented with EU support. To participate in the competition invited the public organization (or the educational institution in cooperation with public organizations) that have creative ideas for raising awareness of children and youth on issues of climate change and adaptation and willing to implement them. The projects will provide an innovative educational activities in the following areas: raising awareness of the implications of climate change in General; raising awareness on environmental, social and economic challenges that have arisen as a result of climate change; raising awareness on how adaptation to climate change. Interventions should take into account the national aspects of climate change, and be aimed at increasing social activity and social responsibility of children and young people. Translation and adaptation of foreign educational materials is encouraged. No restrictions concerning the forms and types of educational activities no. The maximum grant amount for one project: All-Ukrainian educational project – maximum of 300 000 UAH. Regional educational project – maximum of 120 000 UAH. The local educational project – maximum of 50 000 UAH. The period of implementation of educational campaigns: Nov 2016-may 2017. To participate in the contest, participants must submit the following: 1. Completed Application form, which includes: Information about the bidder; Plan the educational project and description of activities. The availability of a draft development (plans, drawings, layouts, etc.) of educational materials is encouraged. If part of the project, replication or translation of already existing educational materials, please add links to original materials, or place them in electronic versions; Description of the target audience (age, number. For example: teenagers 15-17 years old, high school students, 300); Explanation of how the implementation of the educational project affect the awareness of the target audience in the issues of climate change and adaptation, as well as how it can be measured. 2. The calculation of the budget including the cost of travel/accommodation/per diem if the assumed business trip, and the cost of consumables.
