In Vinnytsia region continues to struggle with gambling
As we reported earlier, in the Vinnytsia local Prosecutor's office, in the framework of the open criminal proceedings continues to struggle with gambling institutions in the territory of the regional center. Recently, during carrying out the authorized search in a gambling establishment located in the district of “cherry” identified and seized 17 units of the computer’computers, documents of gambling institution, “black book” and almost 7000 hryvnia illegally obtained profits. On the basis of the evidence collected to the administrator of the gambling establishment it is declared suspicion in the Commission of a crime under part 1 of article 203-2 of the criminal code of Ukraine, and submitted to the court on the application to the suspect the measure of restraint in form of detention. We will remind, the sanction of part 1 of the Art. 203-2 of the criminal code of Ukraine punishment in the form of a fine from ten thousand to forty thousand free minima of incomes of citizens. Thus, in accordance with the provisions of part 7 of article 194 of the code of criminal procedure, the suspect or accused of committing a crime for which there is a main penalty of a fine of over three thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens can be applied the measure of restraint in the form of bail or detention in the cases and in the manner provided by this Chapter. But, according to the ruling of the investigating judge Vinnitsa city court refused satisfaction of the petition of the investigator on the application to the suspect the measure of restraint in form of detention and applied the most m'the measure of restraint in the form of personal commitment''yazannya. That is why Vinnytska the local Prosecutor's office filed an appeal against the ruling of the investigating judge Vinnitsa city court with the requirement to cancel this decision and to apply to the suspect a measure of restraint in form of detention Pre-judicial investigation proceeds, law enforcement authorities take measures to identify the organizers of the activity of the specified establishments.
