Held a “round table” participation of KP “Lutskvodokanal” in the project “Program of development of municipal infrastructure of Ukraine”
In the conference hall of the Center of administrative services in Lutsk held a “round table” participation of KP “Lutskvodokanal” in realization of joint with the European investment Bank project “development of municipal infrastructure of Ukraine”. In the communication adopted by the Director of the Department for economic policy Alexander Oslovit, head of Department of investment policy of Department of economic policy Sergey Omelchuk, the Director of KP “Lutskvodokanal” Ivan Korchuk, his Deputy Anatoly Marchuk. Alexander Oslovit reported that in 2016 KP “Lutskvodokanal” with the support of Lutsk city Council has applied for participation in the project “Program of development of municipal infrastructure of Ukraine”. This project is implemented by the Government jointly with the European investment Bank. It was approved by the Ministry of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine and is in the final stage the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. The Deputy Director of KP “Lutskvodokanal” Anatoly Marchuk spoke in detail about the Project. According to him, the aim of the Project is to reduce the negative environmental impact from the activities of the KP “Lutskvodokanal” on the environment, improve the quality of services of centralized water supply and sanitation to consumers, improve the reliability of centralised water supply and sanitation in Lutsk and improve the financial and technical condition of Enterprises by upgrading the main production equipment and networks using modern energy-efficient technological solutions. The project envisages implementation of following activities: modernization of the technological systems of the station water treatment water intake Rivne Lutsk; reconstruction of sections of water pipe d 600 mm; reconstruction of sewage treatment plant in Lutsk with the completion of a unit of bioenergy and waste management, waste water treatment; modernization of pumping equipment ANC ¹¹ 1, 2, 3, 5; renewal of automobile Park of a special purpose. In addition, to improve the reliability of water supply scheduled replacement of 7 km of emergency water supply ( vul. Dubnyk — str. Trunca — str. Rivne — str. Ershova — str. Gordiuk — str. Kravchuk — str. Karpenko-Kary str. Dubnyk) . One of the priority activities of the investment project “Reconstruction of sewage treatment plant”, which involves modernization of the sludge management with the introduction of technologies for processing sludge. Implementation of this action would allow to abandon the use of sludge beds, which occupy an area of 10 hectares of arable fertile land through the use of technology for the processing of active sludge belt filter press and transport of silt, and to remove the threat of leakage of sludge in the washing in case of emergency destruction of sludge cards. In addition, due to the implementation of this activity will decrease the cost of wastewater treatment, save energy, and also reduces the content of harmful substances, which get in the washing. Along with this planned reconstruction of aeration tanks and potrebno station, as well as upgrading technology for removal of waste from the wastewater. Another equally important activity included in the Project is the modernization of the technological system of water works Dubna intake, which will improve the quality of drinking water and to bring it closer to European standards through the installation of modern filters, which can remove impurities of iron compounds directly on the filter layers. Today purchased 10 filters and components to them, but they need to be mounted together with the pipe strapping and to undertake a number of commissioning. In the case of this project the population will get more high-quality drinking water in compliance with European standards, and the company, and, accordingly, the city budget will receive economic benefits by reducing energy consumption, maintenance costs and repair of iron removal station, which is in dire need of a complete upgrade. Following event reconstruction is to replace an old worn-out equipment on new more efficient. From transport in the enterprise depends on rapid elimination of emergency situations in the city, and the use of modern dredges will create conditions for the effective conduct routine and emergency repairs to departmental facilities. Expected results after the implementation of the Project: increased reliability of water supply systems in the city. Lutsk; improving the quality of water services to consumers m. Lutsk; reduced average annual electricity consumption of 2.7 GW/hour. (14%); reduction of water losses in the networks on 77 thousand M3 (1%); decrease in average material costs. The Director of KP “Lutskvodokanal” Ivan Korchuk stressed that the Project will offer substantial savings on costs for electricity and contains a significant number of environmental benefits. And most importantly, the Project will attract investment funds for the reconstruction of networks that are worn out by 60-70 % , and the budget is not enough. The participants of the “round table” were unanimous that the implementation of the Project will be a significant step forward in the development of the system of water supply and sanitation in the city of Lutsk.
