The business Ombudsman in Ukraine Algirdas Shemet: Vinnitsa region occupies the penultimate place in the number of complaints from local businessmen (photo)
While on a working trip to Vinnytsia, the business Ombudsman in Ukraine Algirdas Shemet was found on 8 November, the press center of the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA with representatives of the local media. The official noted that a half year of the Council of business Ombudsman in Ukraine, Ukrainian entrepreneurs received more than 1,300 complaints . "We started to work in may 2015. The main function of the Council of the business Ombudsman is to consider complaints from members of the business community and providing entrepreneurs and responsible to the Central Executive authorities and authorities of recommendations for solution of problematic issues of business. We is a unique platform for business through which entrepreneurs are able to solve their problems in a civilized and transparent way,- said Algirdas Shemet. He also said that since the beginning of the activities initiated over 800 investigations on various issues: "600 of them are already closed, are those in which we have achieved positive results for the business. The financial effect of our doing, that is what we have saved for the business is more than 6 billion 100 million hryvnias" - said Algirdas Shemet. Also the business Ombudsman noted that Vinnytsia oblast holds the second place in the number of complaints from local businessmen. The region was second only to Rovno. "This is a good indicator, that is, Vinnitsa region is second from the end, because of the region received only 10 complaints (in Kiev for example – 550). Most often complain of work of fiscal services, in particular, on VAT refunds and on the results of inspections( half of all complaints). Also there were complaints to the local authorities, in particular, on regulation of retail trade. But, as practice shows, after my visit to the region number of applications is growing, - said business Ombudsman, following the results of consideration of applications Vinnytsia businessmen, the financial effect is about 2 million UAH." In General, the business Ombudsman in Ukraine, said level of quality of the relationship between the local authorities of the region and the local business community. It explained, to a large extent, the small number of complaints that come from the Vinnytsia region, not only lack of awareness of the business. Algirdas Shemet noted also that the Council of the business Ombudsman can apply through the official website by filling out a simple electronic form.
