In Chernihiv set up a Commission,which will deal with housing for the disabled, anti-terrorist operation and the families of the victims
At the meeting of the Executive Committee, which was held on 15 November, the decision on creation of the Commission on consideration of applications on payment of monetary compensation for belonging to receive residential premises of family members of fallen soldiers and invalids i-II groups of soldiers who took part in anti-terrorist operations. According to the Chairman of new York district in Chernihiv Council Alexander Atroshchenko, which reported on this issue, on-site new York area is currently home to six people who will be paid such compensation, and on-site Desnyanskiy district is one such person. Commission created to address the issue of housing for the specified categories of servicemen in need of better housing conditions, as well as ensure transparency of consideration of applications for financial compensation and avoiding violations of financial discipline relative to the target and efficient use of public funds, optimum and rational use, realization of the rights of citizens to housing, the protection of these rights against possible violations. The Executive Committee approved the regulations of the Commission and its composition, which included the city Council Secretary, heads of departments of city and district Council, representatives of CHOU JSC "Oschadbank" and public organization "SHIELD 41", which unites veterans of the antiterrorist operation. The main principles of the Commission is impartial attitude when reviewing applications regarding the allocation of funds for housing, publicity, transparency, objectivity and unity of the requirements for all applicants to receive monetary compensation. In the Commission's Statute stated that, by decision of the Chairman of the Commission may create working groups with the involvement of the official (official) and others structural units of the city Council, district in city councils, to engage experts and consultants to provide advice, opinions at the decision of questions arising in the process. In the course of its work, the Commission will check the person's status as a family member of the deceased soldier and the disabled, to define the category of the person as a family member of the deceased soldier, to check the composition of the family of the disabled, the availability of documents on statement on the room account family members of the deceased serviceman and the disabled, the fact that the joint or separation of family members. Thereafter, the Commission will make a decision on granting or refusal to grant compensation, and to determine its size.
