29 November, the Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich and Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta met with representatives of the Regional Ecumenical Council of Christian churches (Council of churches). First Council meeting was held with the participation of the regional authorities. — — "The Church is an integral part of society. In order to anticipate the occurrence of religious conflicts, of contradictions, to the representatives of churches of different denominations worked smoothly and the overall result and operates Regional inter-Church Council of Christian churches" – addressed Igor Gundich to the leaders of the Christian churches of the city and region. Participants discussed pressing issues and decided to meet on a quarterly basis and in case of need.
