Last year in bodies of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region received 12 thousand citizens
in accordance with the requirements of the law of Ukraine "About Prosecutor's office" from 14.10.2014, with amendments, powers of the prosecution were changed. However, despite this, citizens continue to guide the prosecution of the appeal to protect its interests and redress, the solution of which was beyond the competence of the Prosecutor's office. The deprivation of the prosecutors of the function of supervision over observance and application of laws did not affect the number of appeals received for consideration by prosecutors. In the absence of statutory authority to consider a range of issues raised in the petitions for 2016 with 12 thousand addresses which arrived in bodies of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region, nearly 3 thousand, or every third of the 5-day period mailed affiliation to the relevant body or official. Of solved 6 thousand requests granted - 111, which is a Testament to ensure their quality, timely and about’tivnogo solutions, the real restoration of the violated rights and basic criterion of efficiency of the prosecutors on the review and resolution of appeals. In most cases the complaints were received on issues of improper condition of pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings. Considerable attention is paid to issues of a personal reception of citizens. So, personally accepted 4420 citizens personally by the heads of subordinate prosecutors ' offices 555 people. In addition, the leadership of the Prosecutor's office of area carried out monthly reception of citizens at the place of work and residence, in places of deprivation of liberty.
