Chairman of the Zhytomyr regional state administration Igor Gundich was found on January 23, journalist, editor-in-chief of the online edition of "Historical truth" Vakhtang Kipiani and the Deputy of regional Council Elena Galaguza. The conversation concerned the publication in the book of memory of soldiers who fought in Afghanistan. The Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich stressed that after the liquidation of regional branch "the Book of memory of Ukraine" the printing of such publications shall not cease, on the contrary – will change the format to a more social and focused on the reader. "We want it to be not just a list of names, and journalistic option which would be interesting to read. The war in Afghanistan killed many Ukrainians. It would be useful to hear about their life, how he got there, the life-stories of heroic figures," said Igor Gundich. Vakhtang Kipiani is the vision of the educational project, in particular, the involvement of professional journalists for writing interesting materials, use of photos: "the material of the book should not be "dead", which was printed and forgotten. The book should not just be printed and put for public access to the Internet. Individual stories from this book can be placed on the "Historical truth", where tens of thousands of people will be able to read them". The project for the publication of a book about the heroes of the Afghans planned to be implemented in 2017, while the editorial offices of the book of memory was planned for this time only to collect and gather materials.
