Local roads of the region will engage local governments
2018 regional and district roads region will take care of the Ternopil regional state administration. This was reported by representatives of road Service in Ternopil region during a meeting on the maintenance of public roads. Road service in Ternopil region begins the process of transfer of functions administration of motor roads of local importance local Executive bodies. This is one of the stages of realization of the "concept of reforming the system of state administration of motor roads" approved by Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 03.08.2011 ¹739-p. the Document defines the main directions of reforming of system of state administration of motor roads of General use and improve the mechanism of financial provision of construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of roads. In turn, the adoption of the road management of the Executive authorities, provides for article 6 of the Law "On local state administrations" (carries out management of highways of the General using of local value in borders of administrative-territorial units). The reform shall enter into force 01.01.2018. To keep in good condition a network of local roads, bridges, other artificial structures, in the structure of the Ternopil regional state administration will be created by the relevant Department. Work will be performed by the municipal enterprise "Ternopil road enterprise". Local roads will be funded by the state and local budgets. At the same time, the relevant Department, additional funds will be required. Machinery and equipment for maintenance of highways and artificial structures will be transferred to OJSC SJSC "motor roads of Ukraine" SE "Ternopil Oblavtodor".
