Thus, this year the Ukrainians will be able to raise cheap funds under the program to implement energy efficient measures in their homes in 4 state-owned banks: PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank, Ukreximbank and Oschadbank. State and local government, as in previous years, the population will reimburse a portion of these funds. "Now everyone who plans to implement energy efficiency measures with the support of the state, will have even more freedom of choice with respect to Bank and soft conditions for obtaining funds for insulation. "The main thing is that the participation of PrivatBank in the "warm" loans will increase competition between banks. In turn, Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank Alexander Shlapak told about developed modern technology of lending under government programs, thanks to which the real value of soft loans for households and condominiums will not exceed 18% per annum, and in some cases installment for the purchase of energy efficient products is generally interest-free. "We are negotiating with manufacturers and suppliers of energy efficient products for maximum to reduce the cost of the loan. The maximum credit rate will not exceed 18% per annum, so to "warm" the credit in PrivatBank, taking into account the payment of the loan from the state would be beneficial, – said Alexander Shlapak.
