As reported by the Deputy head of Uzhgorod local Prosecutor's office Michael Panto, previously it is established that officials of the Department of education Velikobereznjansky RGA in the period June-December 2016 transferred to the contractor funds in the amount of approximately 1 million 400 thousand UAH. to repair a dining room and a gymnasium of a school in Velykobereznyanschyni. However, the local Prosecutor's office of Uzhgorod, in the exercise of the representation of the interests of the state examined the status of observance of requirements of the budgetary legislation regarding the use of budgetary funds on major repairs on the territory of velikobereznyansky district. The analysis of documents has reasonable grounds to suspect a possible embezzlement of budget funds. For verification of these facts, the investigation by the local Prosecutor's office sent the relevant materials to Velyky OP OP GUNP Uzhgorod in the Transcarpathian region. On the basis of these materials, to check the legality of targeted use of budgetary funds, initiated pre-trial investigation on preliminary legal qualification of the criminal offense – part 2 of article 191 UK of Ukraine (assignment, waste of property or taking to them by abuse of official position).
