the Prosecutor of the Rovno area with the participation of the coordinator of the national movement to counter political corruption "Under control" Volodymyr Zyl conducted a training seminar on the theme: "improving the efficiency of use of bodies of Prosecutor's office, as specially authorized subjects in the sphere of counteraction of corruption of the powers conferred by the Law of Ukraine "On prevention of corruption". The event, chaired by the first Deputy Prosecutor of the region Igor Olshanskogo was also attended by employees of regional and local Prosecutor's offices, General Directorate of State fiscal service in Rivne oblast and the Department of protection of the economy of the National police of Ukraine. Opening the workshop, first Deputy Prosecutor of the region Igor Olshanetsky noted that the Prosecutor's office is one specially authorized entities in combating corruption and, despite the fact that, in connection with the adopted change in legislation from August 2016, the prosecutors have not make up protocols on administrative offences related to corruption, they continue to take measures to counter this negative phenomenon, in particular, to detect violations and be sent to the appropriate authorities the materials to study and coordinate the draft protocols on corruption violations before sending them to court. As corruption continues to affect the system of relations of citizens with public authorities and local governments, remains an important analysis of the problem and continuous training of law enforcement officers in this area. With educational lectures were delivered by the head of the organization of activities in the sphere of prevention and counteraction of corruption of the Prosecutor's office of area Alexander Babich, the Prosecutor of this Department Oksana Hryniava, the Deputy chief of Department of protection of the economy in the Rivne region National police of Ukraine Andrey Slipchenko, head of the Department of administration of taxes and fees of natural persons the Main Directorate of DFS in Rivne region Oksana Bakhmatuk. The speakers explained the issues of organization of work of the prosecutors and other law enforcement agencies in combating corruption, in particular with regard to the prevention and detection of violations in respect of financial controls, restrictions on part-time and combining with other activities, receive gifts. With the aim of uniting the efforts of law enforcement agencies and the public to combat corruption and other offences committed by the representatives of the authorities and bodies of local self-government, bodies of Prosecutor's office shall cooperate with public associations of anti-corruption directions. One of these associations is a nationwide movement against political corruption "Under control", which started operations in may 2016 as an Association of regional public organizations that consistently struggle with corruption in all areas. The coordinator of this movement Mr Salem told about the results of his colleagues and said that in the last collected numerous information on possible violations of government officials, including at the regional level, individual facts initiated a number of criminal proceedings. At the end of the seminars the participants decided situational tasks, were discussed the most topical issues of practical application of anti-corruption legislation. The meeting developed the most effective mechanisms of law enforcement authorities of their powers to combat corruption and further cooperation with the public.
