Chernivtsi: the Social organization of a social orientation has received funds for events
the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Chernivtsi city Council approved the distribution of allocations for the provision of financial support public non-profit organizations of social orientation at the expense of the trust Fund socio–economic development of the city budget m. Chernivtsi. The procedure of providing financial support to non-profit public organizations of a social orientation was approved by the Executive Committee of the city Council June 16, 2016. The right to receive funds from the city budget, provided by the Order, have the right non-profit public, charitable organizations, foundations, structural subdivisions of public orgnac who have the status of legal persons registered in the Chernivtsi and are engaged in socially vulnerable citizens, protecting their rights , liberty and social interests. The appeal of public organizations are considered appropriate by the Commission, headed by Deputy mayor Alexander paskar. Members of the Commission, having reviewed the submitted bids for 2016 from 15 social organizations, allocated to each of them funds to various activities. Among them – new year and Christmas holidays, the celebration of the International Day of disabled persons, International day of "White cane", a children's Day, mother's Day, the Day of the liquidator of the day of the Chernobyl disaster, the purchase of food packages for veterans, training and employment of people with disabilities, sports and recreational activities for people with disabilities-disabled people in wheelchairs, upgrading of the electronic library for the blind and the like. In 2016 financial support to non-profit public organizations amounted to 300 thousand hryvnias.
