Chernivtsi: the Category of students eligible for social scholarships,expanded
08.02.2017 G. a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ¹ 81 " On amendments to resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from December 28, 2016 No. 1045, according to which 01.01.2017 G. the right to receive social scholarships apply to the next round. Namely: – individuals who are assigned social scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for students of higher educational institutions from among orphans and children from needy families, in accordance with resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated 24 October 2002. No. 218-IV; – disabled children and invalids of I-III group; – students (cadets) of families who receive assistance according to the law of Ukraine " on state social assistance to low-income families." The changes the students (cadets) from among children-orphans and children deprived of parental care, are entitled to social scholarships for continuing education until 23 years or until graduation in educational institutions and achieve social and academic scholarships. In addition to the above, if the student (cadet) has the right to receive social grants at the same time on several grounds, the social scholarship is paid according to one of the grounds for the choice of the student (trainee). The adopted resolution provided for a reduction in social scholarships for students of industrial and pedagogical higher educational institutions of I-II accreditation level, who study according to programs of preparation of masters of inservice training and are provided with free three meals a day – 50 per cent, and those who are provided with free disposable food – 20 percent of cadets of higher education institutions receiving state support ( except for children-orphans and children deprived of parental care, and students (cadets) of higher education, which in the period of study at the age from 18 till 23 years remained without parents, according to article 62 of the Law of Ukraine "On higher education". Increased by 20 percent of the students (cadets) who reside in the territory of the settlement or studying in an educational institution located in the settlement, which granted the status of a mountain. Added to the list of documents to obtain social grants, depending on the categories of persons: – a copy of the certificate of a person directly involved in anti-terrorist operations, ensuring its implementation and protection of the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine; – a copy of the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the appointment of social scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to students of higher educational institutions from among orphans and children from low-income families; – a copy of the medical report on a disabled child is under 18 years of age or a copy of the certificate mediko-social examination; – certificate of body of social protection of the population on the appointment of family allowance in accordance with the Law of Ukraine " On state social assistance to poor families."
