The fifth Train of the Unity of Ukraine "Trukhanovskiy Sich" arrived in Chernihiv
Volunteer Atpath "Trukhanovskiy Sich" in the Chernihiv region made the first stop in the city of Sochi yesterday, March 20. Train passengers — schoolchildren, students, volunteers, public figures, activists and the military. In General to the region was visited by about 250 participants of all-Ukrainian campaign. The program of the stay: a tour of the National historical-cultural reserve "Hetman's capital" in Baturyn city of Bakhmach district; in the village of Steep borznyansky it – laying flowers to the Memorial of memory of Heroes of Kruty, Patriotic youth flash mob in the framework of the youth campaign "100 good deeds to the 100th anniversary of the heroic battle of Kruty", readings. The same day the Train arrived to Chernigov. Movie-art cultural centre and national-Patriotic education of children and youth participants were welcomed by Deputy Chairman — head of regional state administration Natalia Romanova, Advisor to the Chairman of the regional Council Dmitry Nikonenko, Director, Department of family, youth and sport regional state administration Nina Lemesh and the Chairman of the NGO "United family of Chernihiv region" Nikolay Shan. It is no coincidence that the Train of Unity of Ukraine made stops in Baturin and Steep. These places are of great importance for the historical memory of our people. I'm sure that the younger generation, given the experience of the Ukrainian state that can bring Ukraine out of the crisis, and we'll all live in a developed European country. Ukraine will become a state in which geniuses are not only born, but also realize its full potential for the benefit of the Motherland, – said Natalia Romanova. Co-organizer Atpath Elena Ivanova said that next year it is planned to conduct similar actions, and invited all to participate in further national unity. Nina Lemesh told about the practical implementation of state policy in the sphere of national-Patriotic education in the region. She noted that last year spent more than one million hryvnias from the state and regional budgets for implementation of targeted educational programs. March 21, participants of the project will have a busy day: meetings with leadership of the region, youth activists and volunteers; viewing and discussion of the film "Heritage of the nation"; introduction to the history of the city. Reference: all-Ukrainian action "the Train of Unity of Ukraine "Trukhanovskiy Sich" was founded on the initiative of the 86 public and voluntary organizations with the support of the President of Ukraine in the framework of the support program of national unity. The purpose of the event is to promote the consolidation of society and understanding of people from different parts of Ukraine, raising the Patriotic spirit of the Ukrainians, as well as popularization of national culture. The initiative aims to lift the Patriotic spirit of citizens, the development of the volunteer movement, more interregional cooperation, strengthen dialogue and enhance mutual understanding of people from various regions of the country in the development of Ukraine. Program the desire – the journey of the cities of Ukraine from 9 to 24 March. The event involved about 350 children from all over Ukraine. Most of the participants from Donetsk and Luhansk. Young people who are concerned about their future, is going to establish a direct dialogue with their peers and learn to communicate with authorities. The project started its work in Kyiv. Participants of the Train of Unity of Ukraine also met the residents of Korosten, Zhitomir, Uman, kropyvnyts'ke, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, Glukhov.
