Rivne oblast: seized about 60 kg of amber of various fractions,which are transported in the vehicles of residents of the area
During 8-9 April 2017 operational activities in Rokitnovsky and Dubrovitsky areas of law enforcement seized illegally extracted amber raw weighing about 60 kg, which are transported in the cars of the inhabitants of the Rovno area. So, near the village of Golden, in Dubrovytsky district, stopped the car "De-sense" under control of 24-the summer inhabitant of Rivne and after a surface inspection of the trunk revealed and withdrawn about 55 kg of raw amber, which was placed in the bag. Another foreign car "Skoda-Octavia" the patrol stopped in Rivne and withdrew from the cabin more than 5 kg of various fractions, which are transported in the packages. Varash. On these facts began pre-judicial investigation on signs of the criminal offense under article 198 of the criminal code of Ukraine (acquisition, possession, knowingly obtained by criminal means property). In criminal trials, procedural management which is exercised by bodies of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region, investigations are continuing to establish the persons involved in illegal production and movement of amber.
