Branches supporting schools can now be educational complexes (UCMJ) – institutions, bringing together primary school and a kindergarten. The corresponding decision was taken on April 19 Cabinet meeting. "Often the branches supporting schools are institutions in which a reduced degree after the establishment of a support school. That is, earlier in the premises of this institution would be able to operate the older, basic, and elementary school. After creating a reference school in the branches there was only an elementary school. Often in such places there are empty spaces where you can open a full-fledged kindergarten, but the legislation is not settled. With this decision we are moving towards local communities and give them the opportunity to form in the branches of full-fledged NPC", – said the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych. The decree also amends the definition of a reference school. In particular, such schools can now be companies that do not have branches, but they carried out the transportation of pupils of no less than three towns. The document was adopted with the revision. MES plans to emphasize in the resolution the importance of the supply support schools and children with special needs. Also, the Ministry will cooperate with the Government Commissioner for the rights of persons with disabilities to ensure conditions for transportation of students with special needs in those localities where it is needed. We remind you that now operates in Ukraine, supporting 178 schools. With the 2013-2014 to 2016-2017 academic years has been reorganized with the change in the degree 485 educational institutions that complies with the policies of the MES, according to which elementary school should be as close as possible to the place of residence of the student.
