Addressing the audience, Deputy mayor Alexander Rachkov said that the Chernobyl disaster is the worst tragedy that has caused humanity enormous harm. He conveyed greetings from acting mayor, the city Council Secretary Igor Polishchuk, Executive Committee of Lutsk city Council and assured that the city government is doing and will continue to do everything possible to support the socio-economic status of the liquidators. “The audience here are those people, thanks to which the consequences of an accident are less. I wish health and long life. I also want to honor all those who gave their lives saving others. Kowtow and eternal memory”, - said Alexander Rachkov. Attendees observed a minute of silence.
