the Deputies gathered at a plenary session of the 23rd session of Lutsk city Council. The agenda included more than 70 questions. The first item on the agenda was “On appeal concerning the conviction of action for the deliverance frequency radio “Lutsk” National Council of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting”. Rapporteur on this issue was made by Deputy Andriy Kozyura. He said: “the Current government wants to seize the information space of the country, depriving reducesto local broadcasters. Now radio “Lutsk” broadcasts around the clock, and changes its transmission will come out only four times a day for 50 minutes.” Andriy Kozyura asked colleagues to support the project conversion. Representatives of the community supported the proposed document. Supported document addressed to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of the National Council of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting Yuri Artemenko. TREATMENT regarding the condemnation of action for the deliverance frequency radio "Lutsk" The national Council of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting Lutsk city Council outraged by the changes that are being implemented at PJSC "national public broadcasting company of Ukraine", which appealed to the national Council on television and radio for renewal of license of local public broadcasters. The consequence of this information "reforms" is that favorite Volyn FM radio two decades radio "Lutsk" will disappear on its frequency. So, instead of "radio Lutsk" in Gorohov, Novovolynsk and the regional center of Volyn will sound the radio "Beam". So, instead of 24-hour broadcasts of the radio program "luck" will come out of the program, only four daily 50-minute segments on "Ukrainian radio" and 4 hours on radio "Ray." Lutsk city Council, believes this "reform" a devastating blow not only for the creative team radio "Lutsk", but the done Titanic work to promote authentic culture of Volhynia and the coverage of important aspects of the lives of countrymen. Recall, that radio “Lutsk” was first in Ukraine public radio, which received a frequency in the FM band. It wave radio "Lutsk" for 22 years was the first platform for implementation of regional musicians, artists, public and political figures, so his disappearance with the frequency — is a direct threat to the entire cultural environment of the region. At a time when the authorities fully declaring the decentralization of local communities, this decision is contrary to logic, it has the goal to centralize the source of the broadcast. As a result of these “reforms” the government is fully concentrating in their hands a powerful information mouthpiece to promote their own pseudo-reforms, that is a violation of democratic principles and the principle of freedom of speech. Given the above, we demand to stop the destruction of the local radio stations (in Ukraine under the “reforms” fall 86 local public broadcasters) under the guise of improving or progressive innovations.
