In Chernivtsi ensure compliance with the rules for keeping Pets
19 may was held the meeting of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission at the Chernivtsi city Council on the theme: “the Results of random survey of the city utility “Shelter” on compliance with the requirements of the current veterinary legislation”. Having heard and discussed information provided by the Deputy Chairman of the state extraordinary antiepizootic Commission at the Chernivtsi city Council Irina Smolyak on the results of unscheduled inspection of SCE “Shelter” and information Director of MKP “Shelter” Vasily Vinogradov, on elimination of the revealed shortcomings and violations during the inspection , the Commission decided to ensure stable epizootic situation on rabies of animals in the city and reduce the population of stray animals to be brought into conformity with the requirements of the current veterinary legislation the activities of SCE “Shelter”. Heads of housing offices, businesses serving the neighborhoods and residential area, were obliged to submit applications to eliminate the hotbeds of the clusters of homeless animals and ensure their compliance with the "Rules for keeping Pets in the city". Director MKP "animal Shelter" shall ensure full operation MKP "animal Shelter" according to the Charter; to ensure the proper technical condition of vehicles that cater to MKP “Shelter”; to provide shelter employees with the necessary amount of clothes and shoes; ensure the proper sanitary condition of the territory and premises; to ensure that monitoring of city streets to direct crews to animal control (to control the amount of homeless animals in places of their greatest concentration; to ensure the uninterrupted availability of vaccines for immunization against rabies of animals. Chernivtsi police Department GUNP ensure effective control over compliance by residents of the city “the Rules for keeping Pets in the city” and the law of Ukraine “On the protection of animals from cruelty”.
