However, it was found that the amount of work performed do not correspond to those specified in the project documentation and acts of the work performed. Therefore, given the above, the Prosecutor's office initiated criminal proceedings on the fact of embezzlement of property or possession by abuse of official position committed in a large scale (part 4 of article 191 of the criminal code of Ukraine). According to the sanction of this article the responsible persons be punished with imprisonment for the term up to 8 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years.
