This was announced yesterday, June 15, at GUNP in Chernihiv region on the presentation for journalists of the newly established surveillance system in the region "Network security". In the presentation took part the chief of regional police Department Eduard Alyokhin, Chairman of the Chernigov regional state administration Valeriy Kulich and Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko. The journalists heard and saw the technical capabilities installed, in particular, in Chernihiv cameras and other equipment and software included in the system, allow to obtain a very clear image, or zoom it to recognize license plates automatically. This equipment is "smart", i.e. does not require constant observation of the person behind the screens. But when getting into the field of view of such cameras, for example, car wanted – triggered warning system. An alarm sounds and at the same time on the screen automatically displays photos of this vehicle, the reason for the data search and who to notify. Also, special software allows you to see where this machine was in a given period of time and looked (to determine, for example, when it was damaged after the collision). The cameras work around the clock, as the videos are stored for two months, and the photo archive – 2 years. According to the chief of the relevant police Department Valentina Akulenko, Chernigov installed on the most advanced equipment – in particular, 4 video cameras installed in most public places, here swivel 360˚. In the future, the system will develop. In particular, it is not connected, but it is already written a software module to the protected area. The system is allowed to use only in well-defined official purposes and cases. Summing up the presentation system of the Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko said that her appearance is an example of effective use of funds, particularly the municipal program "Safe city", which became the basis of the regional. In 2016, for this program the city spent 3 million 430 thousand UAH, and for 2017 it is expected about 5.8 million. - we have demonstrated the implementation of this program and that it works effectively base – i.e. investment has achieved its purpose: improving security.
