In Chernihiv on the territory of the regional oncologic dispensary put a capsule, symbolizing the beginning of construction of the body under modern radobelina equipment - a linear accelerator. This is the second in Ukraine apparatus, which is present only in Kiev in a private medical institution. According to the chief doctor of Oncology center Valeria Tooth, this device is much more effective than those used in the treatment of cancer. The treatment method this unit will reduce the rate of rehabilitation of patients and reduce the risk of complications after radiation therapy. The acquisition of modern radiotherapy complex for the regional Oncology center is very important, because this region is included in top-10 regions of Ukraine with the highest level of Oncology. The total cost of the project amounts to more than UAH 100 million of which 17 million UAH allocated from the regional budget 10 million UAH from the city budget m.
