This became possible thanks to the relevant resolution "On amendments to section VI of Annex 2 to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of 30 August 2002 No. 1298" – recently adopted at the Cabinet meeting. In General, the Government's decision was a logical continuation of efforts of the Ministry of youth and sports of Ukraine, directed on increase of prestige of work of the Ukrainian coaches. This was announced by the head of Department of physical culture and sport of Ternopil regional state administration Victor Masykur. According to him, this solution allows to increase the level of remuneration for individual categories of employees of institutions of physical culture and sports 2 pay grades. First of all we are talking about 405 coaches of youth sports schools of the region. "This is a very important social initiative, because the trainers detsko-youthful sports schools is the people who work selflessly and with great enthusiasm. They teach children to love sport and along with them through grueling training to reach great heights. And their joint operation and the result is the new Champions for Ukraine", – said Victor Masykur. Overall, according to the Ministry of youth and sports in Ukraine there are 15 000 coaches youth sports schools, which has been almost 500 thousand students. As for the implementation of the resolution of the Cabinet to increase wages, it does not require significant investment from local budgets, namely: in 2017 will need 64 million UAH. in 2018 – 193 mln.
