Khmelnytskyi: "wish Tree" made the dreams of over 500 children
30 December 2015, ended new year charity action "wish Tree", which was launched on December 17 in the store "Silpo" shopping center "Oasis". The aim of the campaign was to collect gifts for children from large, low-income, foster families, children raised by one parent, the families of the ATO participants, displaced persons and children with special needs. To the regional center of social services for family, children and youth received more than 500 children's letters to St. Nicholas and Santa Claus. All the leaves attached to the Christmas tree, which was located in the premises of the supermarket. Daily, during the action near the "wish Tree" volunteers of the regional center of social services for family, children and youth invited all concerned citizens to fulfill a little Christmas dream of a child. At the request of the volunteers quite actively responded to all concerned. Visitors of store bought baby gifts worth more than 50 000 UAH. In addition, learning about the charity event, citizens bring from home clothes, shoes, toys, sweets. So, thanks to the kindness of others a large family, which was damaged by fire from the village Sakhnivtsi Starokonstantinovsky district was delivered a TV set, a pillow menu (10 PCs.) and sweets. The girl from New Uchizy received the gift of a live turtle, which had long dreamed of. For sports children purchased footballs, professional football boots, running shoes, roller skates. The sincerity, openness and kindness Podolyan each child, wrote a letter with a wish, received the expected gift. The specialists of centers of social services for family, children and youth organized pre-visits to families where the children were waiting on a Christmas miracle.
