In the Zhytomyr region in 2015 purchased 87 apartments
In 2015 one of the priorities of the authorities was the social protection of the ATO participants and their families. This year in Zhytomyr region was acquired 87 apartments for families and disabled soldiers of the ATO. For this indicator, the region is in the forefront among other regions of Ukraine. For the purchase of housing for families of dead soldiers that was directly involved in counter-terrorism operations, as well as for the disabled i-II groups from among the participants ATO who need better housing conditions, in Zhytomyr region it was envisaged from the state budget 30 million 805,687 thousand UAH. Also at the end of the year with the assistance of the Chairman of regional state administration Sergey mashkovskaya as a result of redistribution of subventions between regions of Ukraine, Zhytomyr region was allocated additional financial resources in the amount of 10 million USD. The purchase of housing was developed by a working group under the regional state administration, the activities of which were involved representatives of public organizations, servicemen and local authorities. Deputy Chairman of regional state administration, Chairman of the working group Yaroslav Laguta said: "We tried as expeditiously as possible to work by the end of 2015 to purchase the apartment to everyone who was on the list from among the families of participants ATO and the disabled. Sometimes it was necessary to meet even after hours. But we reached our goals. At the group's meetings, we agreed the acquisition of the 77 apartments (68 apartments for families and 9 apartments for disabled of group II), 1 individual house (for families of the deceased participant ATO)". Housing purchased in: B. Zhytomyr – 14, M. Berdychiv – 10, M. Korosten – 5, m. Novograd-Volynskyi – 26, M. Ovruch – 5, m. Andrushivka – 1, Malin 1, sec. High Oven (Zhytomyr region) – 1, Rivne – 1, g. Korostyshev – 3, M. Baranivka – 2, village of Popeline – 6, Luginaah SMT – 1, SMT Novel – 2. In addition, in the area purchased 9 apartments for ATO participants who have lost the functionality of the lower limbs for a total amount of 5.3 million UAH (3 apartments in Zhitomir, 2 in Novograd-Volynskyi and 1 apartment in Berdichev, Korosten, Malyn, and Korostyshiv).
