Rivne region: rescue workers carry out preventive work among the population by place of residence
From the beginning of 2016 on the territory of Area there were 23 fire, which found two dead people. Current statistics of more than twice the number of fires that occurred in the area over the same period last year. The main causes of fires in homes of citizens is careless handling of open fire, violation of rules of the device and operation of oven heating and appliances. The vast majority of the perpetrators of troubles - the people themselves. Their carelessness with fire in the home, disregard for elementary rules of fire safety causes of fires. Of particular concern are people who abuse alcoholic beverages, vulnerable people and disadvantaged families. Basically, this category of people neglect fire safety rules and not particularly interested in the condition of their own heaters or heating means. To prevent fires and death of people on them, rescuers together with representatives of village councils, law enforcement, and social workers teach people safety rules. Considerable attention is paid to those settlements where there has been an increase in fires with tragic consequences. In particular, 05 January the employees of the state Service for emergency situations visited the settlements Novomahlenska Tessa and rural councils in the Ostrog area. During the RAID of refining residential sector rescuers SSES conducted briefings on rules of health and safety and reminded people of safety precautions when operating devices and during the use of the usual village furnace heating. Officers "101" roses’explained to the citizens with the basic rules of fire safety in the home in the winter, which must be followed to prevent fire in homes, conducted interviews related to fire protection the need to be vigilant when using open flames and gas equipment and reminded of the rules of safe behavior on water bodies during winter fishing. Separately experts of gschs talked to the children and rose’explained to them the danger of careless handling of fire and pyrotechnics. «Reducing the number of fires in the residential sector and accidents among the population is possible only under the condition of conscious and responsible attitude of citizens to the safety of his own life. Experience shows that the most effective measure in convincing people of the need to comply with the requirements of life safety is a direct communication with rescuers.
