In the Lviv region, the attacker shot the cops
Drohobych militiamen appeal to citizens to provide information that will help to identify and detain the driver and passenger of an SUV who shot at police. January 5, at 04.10 in Drohobych police officers patrolling the city noticed a black SUV that was driving the Market square. Since the traffic on this site is prohibited, and the number plates of the car were dirty and didn't procatalyse, the police decided to make a remark to the driver and to check his documents. When police approached the car, the passenger of the SUV from the sawn off shotgun fired two shots in their direction, and then the car abruptly picked up the speed, left the scene. Fortunately, none of the officers were not injured. In pursuit of fugitives, the police have used a service weapon, however to detain criminals failed. On this fact openly criminal proceedings under part 1 345 Criminal code of Ukraine (threat or violence concerning the employee of law enforcement body). The sanction of article prescribes punishment – corrective works for the term up to two years or arrest for up to three months, or restraint of liberty for a term up to three years, or imprisonment for the same term. Workers Drohobych police Department are asking everyone who has information that can help establish the identity of the attackers and their whereabouts, to contact on operating line 102.
