According to preliminary data, the driver of the car «Peugeot Partner", 25-year-old resident of Drohobych, hit 33-year-old local resident who suddenly came onto the road outside the crosswalk and was not convinced that there is no danger. As a result of road accident the pedestrian received a closed craniocerebral injury and brain concussion. Now the man is in the hospital. Law enforcement officials urge pedestrians to be careful, cross the road only at designated locations, not to run on the road.
