Measures to prevent the incidence of SARS and influenza in the Chernivtsi
To the beginning of the epidemic season, in October 2015 the Department of health of the Chernivtsi city Council has developed and approved a "Plan of treatment and preventive measures for the prevention and control of acute respiratory viral diseases, including influenza, in m. Chernivtsi in the epidemic season 2015-2016". All medical-prophylactic institutions of the city has developed a local plan approved by the chief doctor with the definition of patterns for the patients with the disease. During November, December 2015 in health – care institutions of the city municipal property training of health workers on epidemiology, clinical picture, differential diagnosis and prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. Every institution has its fixed person who is responsible for systematic monitoring of the incidence of influenza and SARS. In every health care setting created a supply of disinfectants for the new generation, which is permitted for use in Ukraine, the stock of individual protection means and there is sufficient stock of Tamiflu. Conducted sanitary-educational work on prevention of influenza and SARS among the population on observance of personal hygiene, vaccination and the need for timely access to medical care. Also published the corresponding order on upravljanju "On additional measures for the prevention of morbidity of acute respiratory viral infections, including influenza among pregnant women of the city", where the obligation of medical workers in telephone contact with each pregnant woman about signs of disease, referral for hospitalization, the algorithm of medical care and vzaimoponimanii between medical institutions of the city. Is carried out in close cooperation with Chernivtsi city Department of the Main Directorate gossanepidsluzhby in Chernivtsi region on vzaimoponimanija and presentations on the weekly incidence of SARS on the website of the Department of health of the Chernivtsi city Council. In the epidemic season 2014-2015, 11.01.2016 years vaccinated against influenza 492 persons health professionals working in institutions of the city municipal property. Relevant data on medical institutions to 11.01.2016 years are hospital leaflets on the disease SARS 31 health worker. To prevent further spread of the disease with 12.01.2016 year installed daily monitoring and analysis of sickness rate of acute respiratory viral infections, including influenza. Also, daily collection and analysis of information from medical – preventive institutions of the city for hospital treatment of patients with pneumonia.
