In the Rivne region rescuers teach citizens the rules of safe behavior on the ice
According to statistical data, during last year's winter season on reservoirs of the Region drowned 8 citizens, including 2 children. Therefore, in order to prevent similar accidents with people on the ice this year, the staff of divisions of head Department gschs of Ukraine in the Rovno area regularly water about’objects of preventive raids, in particular visit the most popular places among fans of winter fishing. On January 16th, rescuers conducted a preventive RAID on the waters of Kostopil district. During communication with citizens, employees of the state Service for emergency situations told about the main rules of safe behavior on the ice and the danger rest on thin ice. Winter anglers reminded rescuers, what are the things you need to have to use them in a difficult situation. Also, employees of rescue Services advised fishermen to wear light but warm clothing, and in any case not to drink alcohol because it reduces vigilance and the feeling of danger. Considerable attention during the RAID, the rescue is paid to rose’to sensitize citizens on the rules of safe behavior on the ice during the celebration of the feast of the Baptism. To have people better learned the necessary knowledge, employees of SSES handed to them thematic leaflets with basic safety rules in the winter.
