Zhytomyr region: in two years, the region saved 25 million cubic meters of gas
in the last two years in the field of the complex of measures on transfer of boiler houses to alternative fuels. In particular this applies to social institutions – educational, medical, and the like. "For two years in the Zhytomyr region was translated 172 boiler houses on alternative fuels. This gave the opportunity to save nearly 25 million cubic meters of gas that very effectively from a financial point of view. However, always try to do it without loss of quality of rendering services on heat supply, and even with their rise, as those boilers that are installed, are modern, most of them automatically adjusts its operation in accordance with the ambient temperature," – says the Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta. According to him, question savings today have acquired a state strategic level. "We have to refuse from gas dependence, and not simply to substitute one supplier for another. That's why I try to spend a complex of actions so that the EE was in the first place, that is, to consume energy at a lower cost and certainly save energy, because the transfer to an alternative without cost-effective technologies, without carrying out a complex of works on warming and the conservation of this heat was only half the story," notes Yaroslav Laguta. Currently one of the most effective in the area there is a boiler room in the hospital Andrushivka district. The premise of Andrushevka of the Central regional hospital in 2014 were heated with natural gas (during the year was consumed 155,6 thousand cubic meters of gas for the sum of 600,3 thousand UAH). In December 2014 and March 2015 in the boiler room of the hospital were established on 2 solid fuel boilers (brand boiler "KALVIS-950" and the boiler of the brand "Korosten" 1 MW.), the hospital was entirely on alternative fuel (woodburning). In 2015, were not contracts for the supply of natural gas. A year was consumed 1033,6 G. cubic of firewood in the amount of 227,4 thousand UAH.
